Introduction
Hey guys! First off, I want to congratulate you three for making it as far as you did. I've never been a finalist at a FTC *sniffles* but I bet you're all proud of yourselves for doing what twenty-one other people couldn't. This game was a roller coast ride. We all had our ups and downs and I believe there's not one person who voted for who went home each vote, which made this a very difficult season, for me at least :P
And now we're left with these three people sitting in our final three. I'll admit, had Matthew survived this last vote he would have received my vote 100%. There was nothing the other two people could have said that would have changed my mind. That's not the case unfortunately, and when he was voted out and I looked at who was left, this was my immediate reaction:
I'll say it right now, this is not final three I would have picked. There's no one I would have been ecstatic to give my vote to. Soz. However, I have to give my vote to someone. Perhaps it could be you :O
Richie
Don't get your hopes too high up Richie, cause you're not getting my vote.
There's so many things I didn't like about your game. But I guess I'll start with those damn idols. There were sooo many friggin idols this season it was almost laughable. Four idols at the start, two or three new idols after the swap, and then another idol at the merge. It's like the hosts were practically giving them away!
You get an idol! And you get an idol! And you get an idol! I know I can't really blame you for wanting to hoard all the idols for yourself. I actually blame the hosts for their idol negligence. And don't even get me started about that double tribal. I remember telling Aston about how unfair I thought it was that playing an idol can make you safe for both tribals. Again, not entirely your fault, but it's just something I feel negatively affects your game.
<cool transition>
I think it's fairly obvious that we never worked together throughout the whole game. We never even talked until the F6. In your Rites of Passage, I believe you called it a one-night alliance, but I wouldn't even consider it that.
Matthew constantly told me that you were his #1 ally out there and when he began to worry that there was even a slight chance that you could vote him out over Charley, I began to think, "if this guy is willing to back stab Matthew, then he'll easily vote out someone [me] who he had just started talking to." I don't think I've read the reason you decided to vote for Charley and cause that tie, but I feel like had your idol not given you that special immunity, you wouldn't have risked causing a deadlock and possibly having to draw a rock (which we thought was going to happen). But that's just me.
Anyways! And then we get to the final five!
But yeah, your game this season was not really my cup of tea. One of my regrets this season was actually not trying harder to get my alliance to vote you out instead of Jerby (who was very sexy btw). I actually had a connection with Jerby and I feel like he deserves to be sitting there more than you.
Wojtek
Hey Wojtek! Just like Richie, you didn't bother to talk to me until the F6. Normally, someone would say "why does this jackass deserve my vote when he never even acknowledged my existence until he needed me?" But unlike Richie, I see some strategic prowess and some growth since I last played with you.
Before I continue, let's take a stroll though time, all the way back to the DrPanda All-Stars saga.
(pretend its going backwards)
We are on Manaus and our tribe just lost the immunity challenge. You and the rest of our tribemates vote for me. Luckily, I play an idol and my sole vote against you sends you packing.
I think you've said in your speech or somewhere that you learned from that experience, which is something you proved at the James-Stephane vote. At the time, I just thought a stray vote saved your ass, but now I am able to see the strategic decision you made which not only saved yourself, but managed to send home someone you didn't trust. So I applaud you for that. *claps*
However, just as you said I hid behind my allies, I say you hid behind your allies as well.
Throughout the game, you were always referred to as Charley's sockpuppet who isn't a sockpuppet. The only reason you were targeted early on during the merge was because no one thought an idol would be played on you. Probably how you guys thought I was just there, the same thing was thought about you tbh.
HOWEVER, I'm kinda required to vote for someone and since I'm not allowed to vote for myself, I have some questions for you.1. Roast the jurors (I know Ash already wants you to do this, but this is just to give you more incentive c: )
2. How would you describe your social game this season? Some jurors have said that your social game is impeccable, I beg to differ. But I want to know what you think of it.
3. What (or who) was your biggest obstacle this season?
thx ^_^
Jhet
Kohai! Before I start, I just want to say that of the three, you angered me the most this season. When I found out that you were "Selina" during Ghana, I realized what a missed opportunity it was that we weren't able to work together during that season. You were someone who I'd known for a long time and I was very excited to see that we were both invited to play again.
We were never on the same tribe throughout the pre-merge phase of the game, but I always assumed that we'd team up once we did come together. The merge came, Ted was voted out unanimously. I thought we were still good. Then came the next vote and BAM!, blindside.
I honestly thought we were close enough that you'd tell me about something like this. I never trusted Charley and Noah. I always thought that keeping one of them instead of Perry was a mistake. But I never expected it from you. And it kinda hurt tbh
I guess you can say that that's where I stopped trusting you. Everything you said to me I took with a grain a salt. Then comes the Jerby (who's still very sexy) vote and you vote with us, but then BAM!, you vote against Szymon next which allows the other side to vote out Ash.
It's kind of stupid for me to think about it this way especially since we are playing Survivor, but I started thinking of you as selfish. I know it's every man (or woman) for him- (or her-) self, but you just kept pushing away everyone that wanted to work with you. And now that people have brought it up, you were the Kass of the season.
So yeah, then came all that F6/F5 stuff which I'd rather not talk about (especially since I've been writing this speech for like 2 hours and I'm tired ;-; ) which leads us to where we are now.
What I want to know from you is.1. Who were your top 10 allies this season? Doesn't matter if they were pre-merge or post-merge, just rank those 10 from 1-10 (1 being your best ally).
2. Matthew broke my trust several times during this season (i.e. mutinying from Copan, voting out Ash when he said he'd vote out Wojtek, ect) yet I always came running back to him and started to trust him again. Why do you think the same thing never happened with you?
3. Compare your strategy to that of a real Survivor winner.
Conclusion
So that's it lol If you guys manage to make it this far into my speech, I just want you to know that none of what I said was meant to be personal. It's simply the way I viewed your games. I've also never been that one bitter juror who thrashes everyone, so I just wanted to see how that felt like. I may have exaggerated some of the things I said. ;D
<cool transition 2>
I can't say that this was my best season, or favorite season, or even my funnest season, but I can definitely say it was memorable. I just want to thank the three of you as well as the rest of the players for making my last ORG an exciting one. Toodles ~
